What is NSDC?

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) was set up by the Government of India through Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). It was set up as a part of national skill development mission to fulfil the growing need in India for skilled manpower across sectors including fashion designing and narrow the existing gap between the demand and supply of skills. The Union Finance Minister Shri P.Chidambaram announced the formation of NSDC in 2008-09. It now helps you in upgrading your creative fashion design skills to international standards. Since 2008, NSDC has trained over 1.12 crores students through their partners and helped 50.68 lakhs youth get successful placements.
