b) Screen Printing
It is one of the professional printing method. Screen printing method requires a stencil and a nylon mesh that is then placed in a frame over a piece of fabric. Then colour poured in the frame and pressed firmly with a squeegee to print designs on the fabric. This method creates amazing replications and the pattern stays for a long time as the colour is absorbed in the fabric. For larger orders, the cost will be high. Only one colour can be used at a time, which is a major drawback.

2.Indian Hand Painting
Indian hand painting depicts the rich heritage and culture of India. Earlier this techniques used for painting the walls of temples and palaces. Gradually, started on other fabrics as well. Different regions produced different styles of paintings and everyone has different names The most famous ones among them are Madhubani, Warli and Kalamkari. Madhubani started in a small village of Bihar. This hand painting technique is very intrinsic and colorful. Apart from the fabric, you can see these paintings also on the houses of villages in Bihar. Kalamkari originated almost 300 years ago. In Earlier period people used to decorate sarees and dhotis of the royal family. Warli painting was introduce by one of the tribes of Maharashtra. 3.Natural Dyeing
Before artificial colours, people dyed fabrics in different shades with the help of natural dyes. Various natural dyes are found from plants, leaves, roots, vegetables, etc. Natural dyeing is considered eco-friendly and does not contain any harmful elements, which makes it very popular. Not all natural elements will produce a colour but some of them will give a desired shade. For example, orange colour can be obtained from carrots, gold lichen and onion skin and you can produce green colour with the help of artichokes, spinach, mint leaves, lilacs, etc. Cherries, red and pink roses, berries, avocado skin and seed can give you a natural pink shade and red cabbage, indigo, blueberries, etc. can produce blue colour. To get a yellow shade use sunflower petals, turmeric, marigold, bay leaves, etc.
Make sure to use ripe and fresh plant materials to get different colours. Dried materials will give different shade or no shade at all. For the dyeing process, the fabric needs to be wet. In order to absorb the natural dyes easily, fabric should be fixed. Salt and water are necessary for the berries while vinegar and water are important for plants materials.
